The Engineer appointed by the Employer must assure the concept design and the works follow up of an industrial building. Many modifications have been requested during the project and many additional design hours have been spent. Argos Construction analysis highlighted actual impact of requirements modifications during the concept phase which enabled to justify the total increase of design hours and to obtain an additional remuneration of 1.2 M€ for a contract of 2.8 M€.

Mission

Establishment of a claim for additional remuneration concerning modifications of the constractual requirements, as a support for negociations.
Objectives

Processing with database of concept design

Assessment of modifications impacts on the requirements of concept design (design time schedule and volume of design) ;

Review of quantification of extra costs already done and proposal of additional ones.
